Introduction:
Sugoi Toolkit V10 makes sure no programs are left behind. To celebrate our Discord server crossing 10,000 members, I listened, noted down, and tried to implement as many requests as possible to pack in V10.
I promised to many of you a year ago that when I released V10, I'll include export to images feature for manga translation. Now it's here, and along with other requested features like batch translation for audio/video, manhwa support, etc
Note to Kiseki players: hope you have fun using Sugoi Toolkit to play Kai no Kiseki. The shortcut to the translate button on VN OCR is backtick `. Some of you might need that to map your gamepad.
Manga Batch Translator released, translate and export any manga to JPG/PNG
This brand new program is an automated manga translator. Just put in folders of raw manga images and you'll get back folders of translated images. There'll be a lot more updates for this program in the future.
Korean/Manhwa support now available on Sugoi Manga OCR
To translate manhwa, there are two methods. If it's in manga style, you can simply copy the page image for maximum convenience. If it's in webtoon style with long strip, then either you can set region then capture or just screen crop every text boxes.
A brand new OCR engine for VN OCR, no background removal needed
With this new OCR engine, many games that we couldn't do background removal on are now accessible. However, if your visual novel is simple enough, I recommend the default option as it provides the best reading experience due to instant recognition speed.
(Beta) Light Novel Image Translator, translate light novel images in batch
This brand new program can convert light novel images to txt files. I haven't added translation features yet. It's also worth noticed that in light novels or web novels, sentences are commonly broken so you'll need to rejoin it. A few clues are opening and closing brackets are in two lines or period ending at second or third line. This program is still in beta so I'll add other features like sentence joining or translation later.
Sugoi AV Translator now supports batch translation
I included further instructions when you clicked on the program but as of V10, you can put multiple audio or video files into the input folder of Sugoi AV Translator and after all the processing is done, you can find the translated files in the output folder.
Sugoi File Translator now supports SRT file
I think I'll add other files format soon, let me know which ones you want
Premium Manga Translator now keep numbering/names of original image files
This program sometimes crashed and so users need to reset the translation but doing so from the last images will number it as 0. To fix this, now numbering will be the same as in original files. Let's say you crashed at 014.jpg, now when you start again, the output file will be named 014.jpg instead of 0.jpg
No need to turn on and off Sugoi Translator when first opened anymore
In V9, it's very common that Sugoi Translator would disconnect from the translation server when you first opened it. Now the only times it will disconnect is when DeepL or the translation server itself stopped working.
